ELITE PROGRAM

Elite Program yearly tryouts are held on a rolling basis. Opportunities to join our teams are always available.

Thank you for your interest in the East Penn Rush Elite Program. 

East Penn Rush will offer the elite and premier soccer player the ability to compete at the state, regional, and national level. East Penn Rush pledges to hold the highest level of standards throughout its program in both training and competition. The staff will consist of high level, professional coaches who train and compete within the framework of the four pillars of soccer (Technical, Tactical, Physical and Psychosocial). All East Penn Rush Elite teams train to compete at the highest levels, including the National League, EDP League, State, Regional and National Competitions as well as making countless appearances in prestigious tournaments and college showcases.

Through providing best-in-class resources such as a qualified staff, facilities, and a holistic development program to help develop the total player. We allow our players to achieve their highest soccer aspirations without the usual high costs of registration. In addition to a long-term player development curriculum, players will have access to programs including a College Advisory Program (CAP), Strength & Conditioning Training, and Nutrition Education. Our goalkeepers also receive free training from qualified trainers.

Rush Soccer is committed to providing an unparalleled soccer experience for all who have interest in the game of soccer. Rush promotes the spirit of sportsmanship, the electricity of competition and the importance of pure enjoyment. Rush accepts the responsibilities of teaching life lessons to our athletes to further their development inside the game and out. Rush is committed to making soccer a pleasant, safe and rewarding experience for everyone involved, regardless of age or ability. We believe that all players are winners because everyone is afforded an equal opportunity to explore their potential and pursue positive outcomes on and off the field. Through quality coaching, sound leadership and absolute sincerity, the Rush will work to be the best club in the state, nation and world.

In the U11-U19 age groups, there is a first team (Rush), a second team (Nero) and a third team (Azul) in each age group when numbers allow. In the U9-U10 age groups, there is a first team (Blue), a second team (White) and a third team (Gray) in each age group when numbers allow. This level is referred to as the Development Academy (DA). Whichever the case, players have made a decision to play competitive soccer and are placed based upon their passion, needs and ability.

Our Competitive Branch exists to allow any player, irrespective of ability, the opportunity to take their game to the height of their potential. Players play with other players of like-ability with various levels of commitment throughout. Higher the level, greater the commitment. Rush believes in striving for excellence and as players progress, they are constantly put in new situations to provide a greater challenge if indeed that is what the player desires. For our top players their goals include playing on the Rush Select teams, ODP state teams, regional teams, national teams, college teams, professional teams, etc. For our club, we want to push our players to “the next level”. This “next level” may be different for every player.
